Tuition Fees and Costs

Tuition Fees

Being a post-graduate degree, fees apply for the Program. The fee for the Urban Management Master Course amounts to € 11,000  for three semesters. It covers teaching lessons and materials and the use of TU Berlin services such as library facilities.

Tuition fees have to be paid in three installments. The first installment (€ 4,000 ) is due by July 31st before the start of the first semester, the second installment (€ 4,000) one month before the start of the second semester and the third installment (€ 3,000) one month before the start of the third semester.

Tuition fees do not include the TU Berlin semester/student fee, which has to be paid extra each semester. Currently, the fee is around € 310  and includes public transport in Berlin. The fees do not include such expenses as books, the compulsory German language course (approx. € 100 per semester), stationery, meals, healthcare insurance, visa and accommodation. In case that a field trip should be taking place during the second semester, this will require an own share of a maximum € 200 per student.

Living costs

Students should have at least € 1,200 per month at their disposal to cover the costs of living in Berlin (room and board, healthcare insurance, books and supplies, etc.).

Please be aware that our program is a full-time course. The teaching hours are irregular and may vary from week to week. Therefore, we advise you not to plan on financing your studies by working part-time.
